“Hello, Feyre Darling,” he purred.” – Rhysand, Sarah J. Maas
After reading the blurb, it is going to be interesting to see how Feyre deals with being a Fairy now as in a Court of Thorns and Roses, she definetly had some prejudice going on. Feyre I can already tell is going to be moody and low and especially with her deal with Rhysand.
I believe that Tamlin and Feyre’s relationship is going to be quite rocky at the start because he did absolutely nothing in Under the Mountain and I know Feyre isn’t the type of girl to let that slide. Also lets not forget to mention that she literally stabbed him in the heart, event though it was made of stone but that goes against the point.
I would like to start this section by saying that Tamlin can go die in a hole. Like WTF is wrong with that man, like how can you flip so much as a character and just not see what your own actions are doing. This man is so sucky and dumb. He is like everything you don’t want in a man, controlling, oblivious, dumb. at least Lucien has some sense is trying to help Feyre who is clearly going through a difficult. AND HE IS DOING THAT AGAISNT TAMLIN’S ORDERS. Yes that’s right orders not wishes or concerns.
I would then like to follow on the segment about Tamlin by talking about someone who has all the attributes you want in a partner. Good ol’ Rhysand. He is gentle and understanding and actually seems to care about Feyre unlike someone. Somehow his weird flirting which is kind of coming off as cute is working and actually helping Feyre return to herself. Like the flirting with the disappearing notes is sooooo cute.
You can definitely feel the tension growing between Rhysand and Feyre. Their chemistry is thicccccc.
one downside though is that I hate reading depressed characters, they are just not a fun read so hopefully Feyre can have some sense knocked into her and she will brighten up like the sunshine we know she is.
All I hope for is that Tamlin can just leave the book and never returned and for Rhysand to get Feyre because he seems like such a sweet guy underneath it all.
When writing the last part, I never knew that I could wish more death upon Tamlin. I never knew I could hate a fictional character so much. the guy could not be more evil and scheming and just generally mean if he actually tried to be.
Anyhow, meeting Feyre’s sisters were cute although Nesta is a bitch like not in annoying way but kind of in an annoying way. All she does is just be bitchy like no amount of sister pain results in what Feyre has to deal with. the worst part Feyre didnt even really do anything, Nesta is just jealous.
Oh, and poor Elaine just being caught up in the whole thing and she is just the most morally decent character ever and she is now thing that she hates the most. The worst part is her fiancé is like a fairy hunter so like whoops!
Woohooooo! Feyre and Rhysand are toegther!!!!! I called it. They are so cute and exactly what they need for each other. GO LOVE! BOO TAMLIN!
Finally, credit where credit is due, Feyre pretending to slip out of her mind tricks so that she can go back to the Spring Court under cover. ‘clap, clap, clap’. Bravo Feyre you fooled everyone.
And well done Sarah J. Maas another beautiful book and worth every praise and much better paced book than the first.
